i'm getting funny characters in windows explorer

i'm getting funny characters in windows explorer. Lost all my data in that folder since it won't let me access that folder.

It's called movies2.

I already did a scandisk and chkdsk and it won't fix it. DO you guys think i have a virus?

Try different screen color depths and resolutions. You could also try updateing your video drivers.
