I'm Getting a XP1600,,help pls

I know there is a differnce in stepping with the XP's. I need to know what to look for for the best one to OC......help
 
The new 1700+ t-breds are overclocking even better than the 1600+, but if you are going to stick with the 1600+ then the AGOIA and AROIA steppings are both going 166fsb+ consistantly.
 
You know what sucks?

When reading threads like this and realising that the xp that you have (i 'did' have xp1800) is actually AGOIA and that it will run at 166 - but the mobo wont support the chip (well not stably... abit kt7a v1.0 NOT 1.3...doh) and then you blow the damn thing up trying to 'optimize the heatsink' ..... i have to get another one now... good luck finding another AGOIA in australia... may the luck be with me
