I'm getting a soundcard, any suggestions?

I'm treating myself to a late Christmas present; a soundcard. I've been using onboard audio, but I'm tired of the performance hit that using CPU time for music gives me. I'm no audiophile, I have a 2.1 setup and some ok headphones. I've been looking at the Chaintech AV-710 with the Envy 24bit chipset, but some of the reviews list driver problems as a gripe. Is there a better card under 50 (my biggest concern is a no-hassel install), or should I go ahead and get this one?
 
Just get a previous driver for the card and it should work just fine. When I was using the card with some previous versions I didn't have any issues with it.
