i'm getting a setup error, 401?

Hi all,
I'm installing adobe reader from a Nero cd and i get this "string variable is not large enough for string.
check the string declarations
error401."
i know very little software yet.
what is wrong? o.k. i know it is telling me(string variable is not large enough for string) but i don't know what that is.
i want to know how to fix this.

i would try to download adobe acrobat reader from http://www.adobe.com/acrobat/.

It is possible that the install on the CD is corrupted.
