I'm getting a java virtual machine error...

I tried to run trend micro but it won't install active x.

I did the switching on the internet explorere advanced options and did a online virus scan and nothing.

I don't know jack about PCs so I probably shouldn't respond to this message. But that being said, I would suggest uninstalling Java and get the new version. There is a possibility that the old version is susceptible to viruses. Nov 22 Java story

Seems more programing issue rather than a JVM issue, but anyway.

Select JRE. No need to uninstall either.
