This thing is painful. It's like right on the crater part of the big ear lobe, where you could place your thumb and its smooth.

Good lord how did this happen? My ear hairs are getting long with age, yes, but come on!

Thread is now about zits in horrible places.

you think that's bad? i had one inside my right nostril and it has been painful the last few days. its right on the edge under the flap. very hard to get two fingers around it to squeeze the life out of it. i just went all medieval and started scratching, pulling, pinching until it came off. there was much blood, but i showed that little zit who's boss

This. Nostril zits hurt like hell and they're a pain in the ass. Ass zits are bad too, but I think a nostril zit takes the cake. I never had terrible acne growing up, but for some reason, I get a zit in my nostril and on my ass once every 4 months probably. I've gone as far as tweezers and needlenoses to squeeze those suckers.

That's nothing compare to giant zit on your anus. You can't even sit right. And every time you take a shit, it hurts like hell and you bleed everywhere.

Lol this thread is gross. But yeah I get nostril, earlobe and ass cheek zits too. I try not to pop them as much as possible. For external zits I usually apply toothpaste to them, and that dries them right out within a couple of days. Sounds weird, but it works.

I got a zit on the underside of one of my toes last week. Definitely the first time that has happened, and it hurt like hell when I put my shoes on.

Yeah my mother told me about it years ago. I was skeptical, but I tried it out and it worked. I don't walk around with it on or anything. I usually put it on at night before bed. It dries out overnight, and then I use a warm cloth to wipe it off in the morning.

A guy I went to school with had pretty bad acne. He used to cut a raw potato in half and rub it all over his face. The white part; not the peel. He said that was supposed to work, but like I said, he had pretty bad acne all through high school, so take what you will from that home remedy (yeah I know, hormones and genetics play a role in acne, so sometimes nothing really helps).

I might have my son try this. He has pretty bad acne from where his football helmet touches his skin along the side burn parts. Just slap it on like a lotion or something?

Never heard of zits in these places before. Could it be that you just don't practice good hygiene?

I get those once in a while. They usually don't last that long though. When I do get zits that wont go away (usually between the eyes) I find acne cream works well, it makes it less painful, then the next day I can just pop it.

You know what REALLY sucks? Ingrown hairs. Got one not too long ago. D: Most painful thing ever, well, short of breaking a bone I guess. Never had that happen so I don't know what it feels like but it must hurt pretty badly.

Tons of people mistake herpes for acne. It's possible to get cold cores in lots of places, not just on the lips.

In ear-canal cutaneous infections probably take the cake for me.
Impossible to do anything about them, and can be quite painful for just a zit.

Also, the subcutaneous zits that just keep growing and irritating, until you are ready to scratch your skin off to GET IT OUT OF ME!!!

I've never used it specifically to treat acne. Just an inconvenient, and sometimes, large blemish. Yeah just put some on your finger, and dab it on the zit. Make sure it's covered. It's gotta harden like a crust. In the morning just use a warm cloth to wash it off. Hope it works. For what it's worth, I've always used gel instead of paste, mostly because that's what I prefer to brush my teeth with, but I doubt that makes any difference.
