I'm getting a higher FPS count with Powerstrip at 205/199 than with NVtweak at 220/210?!?

My 7100 runs with no problems at 220/210 with the NV tweak, BUT I'm getting higher scores at a lower speed using Powerstrip??

(System Cel 366@572 on a BP6 with 256megs, using Q2 demo1.dm2)

With the NVTweak:

175/166 : 69,7
220/166 : 71,0
175/210 : 71,5
220/210 : 73,2

With PS 2.72:

175/166 : 69,7 (ie same)
215/199 : 77,4 (somewhat higher!!)

I can't go above 200 on mem with PS before my desktop does blabla

any ideas why this is the case. Whats showing the correct speed??

btw, no cooling except hsk.

Try running at 215/199 with NVTools, it could be that your pushing it to far and it is automatically scaling back the speed when it encounters instability. If thats true then it should run the same speed as PS.

nopes, running at 215/199 with NVTweak gives me 72,5fps, so that ain't the case. (205/199 = 72,4)
