God bless Canada, with stat holidays and the like! Because I work Monday-Friday, and Canada is on Saturday, they gave me today off with pay. Down in the states I still would've had to work, but I would've had 48 hours for the week, the extra 8 being "Holiday" pay, not overtime.

Still, it's nice having a 3-day weekend, plus there's fireworks tomorrow night over the inner harbor 🙂
