My old one was good for 450FSB, anything over that and it was unstable. Hopefully the replacement has the latest rev (C2) chipset, as I'm really hoping for at least 500Mhz FSB.

My pc hasn't been running for around 2 months now, because of this.

As i haven't been keeping on top of all the BIOS updates, due to the amount of time my pc has been out of action. Can anyone advise me of the best BIOS to use with this board? My old board was running 501, or was it 507, i forget the number now.

Anyway, any advice on a good BIOS to use?

Why did you RMA yours?

My first one worked fine for four days, and then wouldn't boot. Replacement seems to be good so far.

Yeah, exactly the same thing here. I turned it on, and it wouldn't boot, no BIOS beeps, nothing. Only the fans would spin up. I tried various things to try an get it to boot, but still it wouldn't boot.

Whats the max FSB you've got out of yours? I'm running an E6300 BTW.

CPU is at 3.6 (9x401); with the 4:5 divider the FSB is at 501.

Hey Rich, any updates on the new one? :)

BTW, the older C1s hit high FSBs also...i honestly don't understand why most can, but some cannot.

Mine's a C1 & it boots up to 520 quite easily (never had a need to try higher).

Oh, & for bios use 0711 or higher.
