For all other video game fanatics like me that want to do better in school, just think of school like I am doing. It really works with this mindset...

Strategies
What I should do and others is to think of school as a game. Just like any game really. School is not about how smart you are, but if you can learn the rules of the game and beat your peers.

The players of the game are everyone in your class. Everyone starts at the same level just like in Halo 2, but those that work hard and can find the tricks/rules and everything first will be able to excel. Once you start out, it gets harder and harder and your competitors will get better with you. The ranking system of the game are the grades. The tests, quizes, homework are all experience points that help you to level up. To get to that level 50(A) will take alot of work and you have to ruthless against your competitors. Same in school, think of it as a competition in a game. Only people you should help and work with are your friends, as in Halo 2, your "clan" members. Form study groups or "clans" so you can get to that next ranking and beat others.

School is just Halo 2 really. Learn the rules of the game, your competitors strategies especially the strategies of your best competitors, and then just keep going and going till you get to that level 50 or A. AP Bio is slayer, AP US is CTF, AP Stats is Oddball, French is Assault etc and you need to get Level 50 in all of them. But be ruthless against your competitors and learn from them, think of them as your enemies and don't let them get the highest scores. Every test is a "game match" of slayer and you have to win over 30 others to get to that next level.

:D Hahaha. I guess if it works do it! I always saw it as "Well if I don't do well now, I'm going to limit how far I can get...and why should I pay 2500ish a quarter for classes if I'm not leanring anything! It is bad enough that I have to PAY to learn stuff I could learn for free on my own!"

But if it works for you, don't let otehrs get to you and shoot you down, I'm sure for some people who were born with Playstation controllers in their hand and can't put down games this is a good tactic
