I'm filling out an application...

I'm filling out an app for A|X and I have no real previous experience. I've done stuff that I got paid for but not a real job. Like me and my friends made web design business and made a few websites for different companies and I also sell furniture on ebay by buying furniture from my dad and selling it. Both those things are self employed jobs. How would I put that into the application? I think I should put it in... or should I just leave it out? It basically has a section where you can put previous employers, address and phone # but since it was all done by myself, it feels kinda dumb to put my own info there. Ahhh first job err first application worries 😛

seriously though just write it down however you deem fit and yet still has a professional feel to it. Then elaborate in the interview, assuming you get one.

sing some skynyrd.

Train roll on, on down the line,
Won?t you please take me far away?
Now I feel the wind blow outside my door,
Means I?m leaving my woman behind.
Tuesday?s gone with the wind.
My woman?s gone with the wind.

And I don?t know where I?m going.
I just want to be left alone.
Well, when this train ends I?ll try again,
But I?m leaving my woman at home.

(chorus)
Tuesday?s gone with the wind.
Tuesday?s gone with the wind.
Tuesday?s gone with the wind.
My woman?s gone with the wind.

Train roll on many miles from my home,
See, I?m riding my blues away.
Tuesday, you see, she had to be free
But somehow I?ve got to carry on.

Nerd and straight isn't totally A|X materially 😛 Although that is me. I'm chic straight nerd tho 😉 hehe. Let's not bring up the metrosexual.

I think potential employers would be very impressed with your self-employment history, if you can word it right.
