I'm feeling down :(

So I failed an accounting test which I needed to pass in order to get into the next course. I got a lower score than the last time, and I don't know what I got wrong since we can't actually review the test. Damn...

Look at the bright side: When you retake the course, you'll already be familiar with the subject matter, and should easily earn a good grade.

if not, third times a charm 😉 at least it was for me!!

Oh trust me, there's much worse...

Just take your time, study all the material thoroughly, maybe you can retake it? It might suck now but it's far from the end of the world. At least then you will graduate knowing you passed the course instead of just giving up, right?

I tanked accounting. It's a soul sapping class from hell IMO. Have a beer, a smile and take it again, you'll do better.

How about trying studying it from different angles...different text than what you used before.
A different author's way of expressing things may be easier & more natural for you to connect with.

Then you'll have a future career better than this guy.

I'm sorry. I know it's hard, but see if you can talk to your professor - don't feel shy to. I think it'll really give you a clue as to what the problem was, and if you have to take that exam again, you won't make the same mistake.

Good luck!

I had a friend who tried like a dozen times to pass a test so she could get into a career she really wanted to do. Honestly, I wouldn't bother with it if I failed the test even once. Since you can't even review the test, even if you passed it could be luck and you don't want that if you get a job doing it.

The next available test is a few months away. This is really gonna set back my graduation date.

It really seems like it is important now, but 5 years from now it won't really matter. Focus on things that will matter in 5 years.

Wow, that's a fun way to go through life. "Well, I failed once, I may as well just give up!"
