My glands are addicted to cake. :(

On a happier note, I am down 17lbs in the last month. :)

EDIT: Down another 12 lbs in the last month, yeah!

Good. It's great to see people doing something in favor of their own well-being. Keep it up.

I lost the first 7 in the first week (water weight) and the last ten over 3 weeks (3.3 lbs/week), considering my high starting weight, it isn't that much.

Nothing compared to the guy who lost 24lbs in two weeks from what I was reading earlier

Guess when you are fat and basically stop eating and start exercising....

Can't be healthy.

I think most people WANT to do something about it (or at least complain about it), but it's actually doing something about it that is unusual. ;)

No, I certainly eat less. I eat whenever I am hungry and eat only good foods (chicken, brown rice, beans, etc). When I am at work and need something quick, I buy a flatbread sandwich from subway or hit up Taco Bell's Fresco menu for some relatively healthy fare. I then started tracking what I am now eating with Lose It on my Ipod touch and found out that I am now eating about 800-1300 calories per day. It sounds a little low, but I only eat when I am hungry and I eat until I stop being hungry so I don't see a problem with it. I do want to get my calories a little higher probably in the 1000-1500 range (who would have thunk that a fat guy needs to force himself to eat MORE to lose weight ;))

My exercise is quite varied. I've spent a lot of time on EA Sports Active for the Wii and it has really helped. It does nothing for upper body, but the lower body work is really brutal. I've also taken up running (i'm working on the couch to 5K program) and also go lift weights at the gym for upper body work.

I just got a wii fit, this thing is amazing, it records and graphs your weight on a day to day basis and tracks your activities. Mainly all the record keeping that I hated to do manually.

That. Plus I'm already naturally strong. If I can maintain my current muscle mass while losing the fat, I'll be ok.

Pretty much what I do on my ipod touch. I'm going to wait for the new wii fit to come out before I invest in that.
