OK. I've got an 1.4GHz AMD with GIGABYTE GA7DX board, the fan is Titan TTC-MT1AB (until 1.5GHz). The fan is fitting right on the CPU (I'm sure). The RAM is PC2100.
The Bios is the newest (F3) and supports CPU up to 1.4GHz. The Temp. of the CPU is around 70 degrees Celsius (but I'm not sure if the termal diod is seated right!)

Now the Problem:
The PC does not boot with 1.4Ghz (with 1.2Ghz does). It freezes when Windows shuld start up. It means after IDE and Keyboard check.

I tried all (new CPU, new Fan, BIOS update....).
Please help me.

Thanks

70 sounds pretty hot. I would work on that first, if I were you whether it's the cause or not.

You are definetly running hot... i don't think you sould be over 50 degrees celcius or so... and your machine is shouwing signs of overheating... when you say new fan... is it new heatsink and fan or just fan? Also how much have you changed the voltages from default? or are they at default?

well, after all we fixed the problem. We reset the BIOS and now, everything works like a charm.
