Just want to get your guys take on this.

I need to do a presentation (10 slides) on a business strategy ..

A current Strategy issue must be presented in class by each individual. It should be accompanied by appropriate written handouts and discussion point questions. Use the class to get input and ideas. This should be an interactive presentation.

I spoke to the professor after class and said that I was thinking about NeXT's strategic failure.

But I was thinking of maybe doing IBM's strategic failure with OS/2 and it's venture with MSFT

or the RIAA.

What do you guys think?

It doesn't have to be tech related - but that's what I am interested in.

Ah, yes, NeXT. I remember wanting one of those in the late 80s.

For me personally, the IBM/MS venture is the most interesting but it's probably too much "common knowledge" to be a good topic.

ibm's OS/2 might have been a failure, but chances are you're running OS/2 v.5 or 6 from microsoft's trunk.
