Good on good servers, bad on bad ones.
A good server will likely have disabled complaints for the noobs who walk on your mines, they added this in the 1.02 patch. Decent servers usually put a limit on heavy weapons aswell, so you only get so many panzerwhores or support fire spammage. still get a few moaners about airstrikes tbh, but its always newbies who havent put together that the sound of a plane flying overhead = leg it, or that the huge smoke marker also acts as a warning to stay away. In better servers so get kills from support fire you have to be very sneaky with it, its main use is for area control and breaking up attacks/dug in defenses. Same with the panzerfaust, some noobs do seem to think its quake and go around 1v1 with the thing but better PF players use it to break open a bottleneck defence or put down a mass rush.
It does need more computer than RTCW though, more cpu videocard and bandwidth, and its a somewhat slower game by design. Most of the interest for the future will come from feature mods, ETPro is looking to be pretty good, same game but just adds more features for good games.
