I'm developing a fake british accent from listening to british songs

Has this happened to anyone else? I'm finding that sometimes, unconsciously, I pronounce girl almost without a vowel. (Rhymes with bell) This happens with other words too.

I've caught myself saying boot before. I told my friend put it in the boot, she looked at me like wtf?

I don't do this with movies or songs, but when I talk to people on the phone, I tend to subconsciously talk like they do. I might get a slight accent or make my voice deeper or higher. I don't try to do it, it just happens and then I realize it later on.
