I'm fairly sure Kucinich would fare better among relatively informed people such as most of those in this forum than among the general populace, but I'm curious to see how he would do even there. Who would you pick if these were the 2 main candidates & why?
I think most of you know that for me this is a really easy decision. The only issues that I disagree with Kucinich on from the CNN list are affirmative action, arctic drilling (I think we should be looking for more sources of oil, even if cutting back consumption), and nationalized healthcare, with the nationalized healthcare being the biggest gripe of those 3. Actually, nationalized healthcare could be an improvement if it is carefully implemented but I don't believe that can really happen. That means I disagree with Bush on about 80-85% of everything.
I especially like the fact that he had the balls to speak out against the Patriot Act and the war against Iraq from the beginning rather than joining the bandwagon as it became more clear that there were no WMD.
