and now I'm laughing manically

This new subwoofer  Just got it hooked up and setup. I thought it was really good until I played a base heavy song.

Holy. Shit.

I just started laughing it was so much. Its been almost a year since I had a good, complete audio system and apparently I've really really missed it. Ignore the messy setup and mongrel finishes - they'll all be behind and acoustically transparent screen at some point.

(PSB Imagine T, Imagine C)

(Seaton MFW-15 SS Turbo. At 115lbs and 24"x22" it was a bitch to get upstairs myself but I regret nothing)

Now if you'll excuse me I intend to spend some more.... quality time with it. I bet if I just stand next to it the vibrations in the air will be enough....

Cool. But if I want my hair to move, I'll just crank up my 2k watt SD audio system in my car

Sweet. Now go find some organ music to play on it, preferably some that makes good use of the 32' contrabombardes.

Oh great call. Any recommendations?
Tom Koopman Organ Spectacular - Bach on DVD-Audio.
Telarc 1812 Overture with digital cannon DVD-Audio if you want to die. The performance is shit, but it sure thumps your chest.

Or play some Barry White

I have two 15" sub except my sound system is still in boxes after my Nov 2011 move...

Sure. Look up Widor Organ Symphonies (Finale of the 8th is especially recommended for the aforementioned contrabombardes). Also some of the organ works by Franck, these are mostly quieter but make great use of the pedals.

Try my wife's drum solo, Dark Moon Drums. The drums include two seven by thirty foot steel tanks plus a twenty by thirty five foot steel tank. Even though we made the recording, we don't own a stereo capable of playing the bass properly. Lost Water, Iron Wind is most excellent at repelling bothersome spirits.

I tried.

Even as a stretch for percussion.

I'll politely pass listening to it all.
