Im crashing when playing games is 52 degrees too hot?

I've been experiencing some crashes when playing games, my system reboots and my cpu temp is 52 degrees, is that too hot. I'm wondering if this coud be the problem?

geforce 3 ti-500
512 megs crucial pc2100

I'm using the det 22.80's and windows 98.....I have set my agp aperature to 128 and disabled shadowing in my bios, other than that I havn't messed with anything.
 
You tried running with the case open to see if that helps at all,it should not be a temp problem but you got to rule it out.

I notice you have very good quality Crucial ram which should be fine at "turbo setting" since mine is so try running it at fast or normal and see if that helps.You did disable system bios cacheable as well?
