OK, this phone is $60 pre-paid.

I'm seriously considering buying this just as a portable media player only. I have no use for a cellphone.

Thoughts?

1. Youll need the head phone adapter and a mini SD card.
2. Camera and video resolution isnt that great.

Up to you I guess.

My friend has been through 6 with verizon insurance. They break practically at the slightest touch. I would say go for something else.

I've broke two. The touch screen is wonky and sometimes thinks it is being depressed even if it isn't.

I wouldn't buy it for an mp3 player, I wouldn't buy it for the camera, I wouldn't buy it as a cheap/portable solution to both. Even when I had it, I still carried around a camera just because if there was something I wanted a picture of I could get a better picture faster (I love my sd1000)

I have this phone (well the original LG Chocolate) and I have never used it for it's intended media purposes... other than using it as a phone. And to take an occasional picture.
