After a little bit of trouble with our network, everything was reset and working. Since the router was reset, i logged in to the router to forward all the appropriate ports for the different programs. Anyways, logging into the router wasn't quite as snappy as it should have been. It was actually very laggy. And sometimes the router doesn't even load the page, it seems as if it drops the connection.
But, here's the odd thing. My friend is hooked up to the very same router, but everything works just fine for him. The ports are forwarded just fine, and the router pages load as quickly as they should.
What could be wrong? Everything used to work the last time i checked too!
