hey u got the ECS K7S5A board too ? hahaha

if you encounter any problems with bad floppy writes then mebbe u need to download the correct BIOS, I'm using the overclockers BIOS 010911 and it has an option to fix the bad floppy write problem in BIOS.

if u r thinkin of overclockin ur chip then CPUCOOL is an option for u

otherwise what do u wanna do now ? ??

whoops didn't really answer ur question now did i?

the official BIOS should be enough for u rite now ... what do u want to do ? dats the question ...
read thru ur system rig... mebbe get a proper sound card??

the cpu is holding me back, since all i use is cs and mp3 with the sound, i think the onboard will do, i jjust flashed it to the 911 unofficial bios, i can only set it to 112/112, 124/124 would post but wouldnt start windows 2k, just a blank screen, so i set it back to 112/112, someone said if you set the clock speed back and uprising the fsb it will work but it has something to do with those L bridges, i have done the L7 and the L1 to give 1.85v and overclockability. anymore suggestions?

By connectin the L7 Bridges you're actually settin the chip to run on 1.85

the L1 bridges have got to do with the CLOCK Multiplier.

Since the k7s5a does not allow you to change the clock multiplier, there are suggestions that by modifying the L1 bridges you can actually set the clock multiplier manually. For more information on modifying the L1 bridges go have a look at the overclockin guides at

Otherwise try CPUcool

good luck !!
