Hi all !

Currently I run a 1.6A @ 2.415gig [151 fsb] on my P4B-533 using the Standard Intel H/Sink and Fan with a touch of A/Silver.

I am looking to upgrade & overclock a new 2.53 C1 chip, but I am confused.

From the P4 spec page, I find:-

- SL6DW is a C1 => this is a Retail Box & OEM cpu => Core Voltage 1.525

- SL6EG is a C1 => this is a Retail Box ONLY cpu => Core Voltage 1.525

- SL6S2 is a C1 => this is a Retail Box & OEM cpu => Core Voltage 0.000

Using my P4B-533, PC2700 DDR & a high-quality 420w P/Supply, ** MY AIM / TARGET ** is:-

=> to get around 166mhz fsb using the Standard Intel H/Sink and Fan + some A/Silver

So.....my questions are:-

1) Which of these is the multi-vid 2.53 C1 CPU ?

2) Which one of these is *THE* 2.53 C1 to get ?

Many thanks in advance.

Thanks Spicedaddy

=> so what cpu voltage does the SL6S2 actually run at ?

Also, from reading reports on this and other forums, where people are getting 180fsb at close to standard cpu voltage:-

=> am I right in saying that 166fsb for a SL6S2 should be a total no-brainer ?

They run at either 1.475, 1.5, 1.525V, hence the "multiple VID"... :)

166FSB should be pretty easy, but it always depends on the chip you get. I haven't seen too many people get duds though, so I'd say chances are excellent.
