Every day is caucasian day, because whites are the majority. If white people were a minority group, we'd probably have our own TV channel and our own days.Originally posted by: krunchykrome
Why is there an African-American week, this and that...but no caucasion day or anything like that? Not that I really care, but it's an interesting point.

Are we cooking chicken and having some grape soda? 😉
Seriously, he has a point. It is getting more and more to the point where being white will be a bad thing.
I hear this question so often, it's echoing in my head like kids singing "Row, Row, Row Your Boat" in rounds.Originally posted by: krunchykrome

EDIT: and what the HELL is "African-American Week?" Your stupid ass probably means Black History Month, traditionally observed in February. If you're dumb enough to call it "African-American Week," then you probably have trouble figuring out how to put your socks on in the morning.
Give me one viable reason why we should have "Caucasian Day." And "because all other races get their own days" doesn't count.Originally posted by: krunchykrome

I dont care what it's called because it really doesnt mean anything to me. But I am aware that there is a week, month, day, whatever, to recognize black people.
Everyday is caucasion day? Explain....

Seriously, what history do Caucasians have that makes us able to celebrate our heritage? We've a) killed 99.99999999999% of the Indians here in North and Central America in the name of Manifest Destiny, b) abused and enslaved blacks for almost 300 years (which officially ended in 1965 but mass racism is arguably still going on today), and c) singlehandedly been responsible for some of the worst wartime atrocities in the history of war. My Lai? Blame Lt. Calley (white). Indian massacres? Blame Andrew Jackson (white). Nazism and torture of Jews, Blacks, Asians, etc? Blame Adolph Hitler (white).
You want recognizance of white achievement? Walk outside. See the cars on the street? Thank Henry Ford (a blatant anti-semite). See your neighbor carrying their laptop? Thank Michael Dell (white).
Face it - white people, as a race, get all the credit they deserve, and more. Like I said, every day is Caucasian Day. I can't think of any good reason why we should officially observe such an occurrence.
Racist? NO. I'm WHITE. I, however, am able to recognize the mistakes and cruelty of my race and realize that we've got it pretty good. I know that not every white person is cruel and inhumane, but I wouldn't say that we whites have suffered much as a race.Originally posted by: Isshinryu

Listen brother, I said in my first reply that I really dont care. I dont want to recognize any white acheivments because I dont care. And I dont want to recognize any black acheivments either...because I dont care. I just pointed out the imbalance.
What do you do during "African American Week?" Seriously? Is it necessary? It's about as necessary as a "White week."
