They have me on Eliquis for blood thinning, and I'm eating Tylenol like Skittles for pain in my hands.

Tylenol overdoses are no joke and are cumulative so talk to your doctor about the limits. Glad to have you back.

There was a brain bleed involved, but others have fared far worse with that. I have some memory holes, and I I've lost about 80% of finger strength, but I'm not drooling in a cup.

Glad to see you are recovered to such an extent that you can correspond as you currently do.

I have maybe two other friends who've survived a stroke. Every now and then, I might wish that a stroke or heart attack might not have a recovery path -- that I might just punch my ticket right away. Otherwise I go forward daily seeking to live the remainder in grace and appreciation for the life I"m given. I certainly wouldn't want to linger as an impaired person after a stroke.

But I saw the remark from Amused about "then" 25 years ago -- And I had come to these forums 20 years ago.

This is all scary. I'm going out on the hill now for my walk and hope to get "un-scared".

- Have your affairs in order, will and ceremony, all that.
- Write a letter
- Make sure that your loved ones understand that you love them, preferably daily.

Now you're check out ready and can live the rest of your day(s) in tranquility and without fear.

I was attempting to get counseling at the County Office on Aging to get advice just like that. I'm going to put all that on my list. I'll get started on it before week's end.

Is that under doctor's orders? Especially dosage? Acetaminophen is known to fsck your liver if you take more than the recommended daily dose.
