Reading your title, I thought you just got your ban lifted, and expected some witty replies to your thread.
 
Haha, suprisingly enough I've never been banned.

My username , yea i know its awful. I used to go to raves when I was younger. And I was going through some stuff when I was moving out and picked up a necklace some girl had given to me with "pedothug" right on it. So the rest was history.

As far as what I did in Iraq, since I'm with an infantry unit, we were living in a building in the middle of the city. Went out patrols, raids, and other operations everyday to disrupt insurgent activity and keep our main MSR open.

So your back, lets here some stories. Im sure you have lots to tell and talk about and I know Im ready to listen.
Like how was the food? Interesting raids you were on. Did you help capture any one super important? What did you do for fun to keep your mind off the grind? Are you expected to go back any time soon? You know stuff like that 😀

If you are legitimately interested ill tell a few things. Food sucked we got the same ****** everyday, if you didnt like it MRE's were always available. They only brought us dinner or we had to get it. Chicken, rice, mash pot. , lettuce. (every damn day). All the raids were ****** awesome, no adrenaline rush (besides getting shot at) like busting in someones house at 0300 in the morning, fully knowing that he was a bad guy and finding his weapons. Interesting ******, well we were in Zarqawi's torture house. Those f-ed up videos of him slicing peoples heads off, i was there, kinda f-ed up but the people who live there now are totally innocent. Keeping our mind of the grind, we watched series in our down time which wasnt much. We were busy most times of the day sometiems up for 36-72 hours at a time. If we were on Quick Reaction Force where you couldnt sleep, we watched ****** like Greys Anatomy, Nip Tuck, Rescue Me, Sopranos, etc etc. Movies got old we saw all that we had 3 times plus. We are expected to go back in a couple years. Before that either Korea or Iran depending on the mission, and depending on what happens in the near future. Honestly rather go back to Iraq than Korea. Iran will be tough but its kinda the same ( know what i mean).

Um. Wow. Anytime you get bored, I'm sure a few of us would be interested in more details. It's interesting to hear first hand what life is like "over there".
