Man... what a pain in the arse that was... Ick... but I'm $200 richer and I've wasted my entire weekend popping viens in my head trying to get my computer up and running.

Hmm... maybe the $200 is in relation to the pain is his butt... :Q joking... ;)

I've formatted my 40gig about 7 times already. First I had 98, then tried to load linux, linux -> 98 dual boot... etc. Pain in the butt is right. All I need now is my damn network card to come in the mail, so I can download the updates to X, and get my computer online again :).

So what does the $200 represent? Your paycheck or something?
