Nope. Official announcement of the cancellation was just about 10 mins ago.

The owners had no plan on agreeing to anything - they make a lot more (initially) by closing the season.

Good thing hockey isn't somthing I will miss.

The players are the main reason why there is no NHL season. I would pay to see Goodenow, Linden, etc hit in the face with a Al Mcginnis (sp?) 100mph+ slapshot.

You should catch some AHL hockey man. The P-Bruins have some good talent this year because of the lockout. Bergeron, Hilbert (went 4 for 4 in the accuracy event in the AHL Super Skills this past Sunday...first time in AHL history).

When I was home over XMas I went to a P-Bruins game.... it was a much needed fix. Saw the game right after XMas against the Lockness Monsters... LoL what a name. That southie kid on the P-Bruins is funny hell running around kicking people asses...

Yeah, I've had season tickets to the Mancheter Monarchs since they have been around. If you are back around sometime, you should check out the new arena we play in. They have led the league in attendance since they started 3 years ago, and we got the All-Star weekend this year. The Super Skills and the All-Star game were both awesome...and we were even on ESPN2! 😉

Lowell is our hated rival. During the All Star events, anytime the Lowell All-Stars were nanounced, they got booed. There mascot is even worse..."Louie" the lock monster. :roll:

Southie kid? Jay Henderson? Colton Orr?
