I'm also looking for an MMO

Me and my friends are looking for another good MMO to play. Most of us played SWG so if you haveta grind that's not a big problem. I've played and like Star wars galaxies (pre and post CU, avidly waiting on SWGemu to get back my TKM), Eve Online, WoW (warlocks FTW), City of Heroes/Villians (MM), and Planetside (really kick ass little game that is only still good because SOE no longer pays it any attention). I've played and didn't like Anarchy Online, Matrix Online and Guild Wars. Newer would be better, I'm not a big fan of bad graphics even though I'm a Warcraft 3 TD addict. As you can see we play MMO's a lot as we are all off at college, some of use spread apart, and they are the easiest way for everyone to get together for some fun during off time.

On a side note I WOULD play Burning Crusade BUT, my warlock is on a PvE server (Gilneas) and all my friends have rerolled on PvP server (Kalecgos) and have their 60's on there (i quit for about a year and they kept playing). If anyone here has a high 40's low 50's or even 60's character on Kalecgos (must be horde) they don't play anymore or would like to trade accounts for a lvl 52 warlock on Gilneas let me know. It would be MUCH appreciated and help greatly in our search for a new game.

Maybe check out Shadowbane. It kept me interested for a couple weeks.

You can spend another couple weeks on Aces High II if you like MMO flight combat.
 
Alot of people like Flyff (Fly For Fun) http://flyff.gpotato.com/ and I thought it was a really awesome game for FREE... check it out.

EDIT: Oh yeah... you can actually fly in this game on brooms and surfboards and that is freaking sweet! ^_^
 
You should just reroll and join us on Kalecgos! 😀

Edit: Seriously, you should reroll a Blood Elf Paladin. The idea of grinding from 1-70 may not appeal to you, but keep in mind the starting zones will be all new, and of course 60-70 will be new. Also, you could be one of the first Paladins horde side if you dedicate your time strictly to leveling the pally, while many others are also grinding their mains to 70. That would be a great contribution to your friends' guild I'm sure.

On the other hand... I am on alliance side, and I will surely be ganking every blood elf I see, so be sure you know what you are getting yourself into 🙂
 
the thought of being a paladin makes me shudder lol. Gilneas had a ratio of like 70% Alliance and 30% Horde when the Honor patch came out. TM was a damn slaughterhouse. From the morning until about 4 oclock the horde would be beating the hell out of the alliance, and then it happened. All the sudden wave upon wave of 12 yr olds that just got out of school would show up for the Alliance with their pallys. Divine sheilds aplenty (before they nerfed em) and start ganking the horde. Our superior tactics didnt mean jack crap when they had like 200-300 more people there than we did. Once they overran us they would just sit there in the town, waiting on anyone to respawn and gank em. Oh it was horrible. I do believe that the quality of Horde on every server will go down drastically because of the amount of immature screaming children that are gonna either reroll Blood Elves or join just to play em. Ugh.

Yeah, I can't blame you... in fact, I figured you might say as much. Paladin would probably be my last choice of class to roll, and there will surely be a lot of kids rolling BEs. At least it would be something new, and you could be the exception 🙂. Could always go with a different combo though, too.

Either way I think BC is the most exciting thing going on MMO-wise right now. Seems like most of the other could-be-goods are still in beta or not even there yet. Most of what I have heard about Vanguard is pretty meh...

well lets say I did roll a BE on kalecgos, or somehow played a character or that server. What's ur screename and what type/class are yah, that way I can look ya up, and gank ur alliance ass lol

You should just make an undead frost mage and then you can /laugh at the poor Warrior :laugh:

EDIT: I'm going to be making myself a BE Paladin... mainly because Blood Elves are the niftiest looking race 😛. I'd make a Blood Elf Rogue, but no one in their right might passes up WotF. But a paladin with an AoE silence will be insane...
