My siblings all went out, my dad's gone to a friend's party, mom's not home from work, and I'm all alone here browsing ATOT without a significant other. 🙁

I'm pondering whether or not I should get a head start on a project due in a couple weeks. 🙁 WTF studies on Saturday nights anyway?

Please comfort me with a more pathetic story then mine.
 
Mrsskoorb is away, but VD means little to me anyway, just some commercialized bullsh*t holiday. You can tell I'm romantic 🙂
 
i ended up spending the evening out with my sister and a couple of her friends. thats how sad my day was. note its only 11:25
 
I'm just sitting on my back porch with my Remington 710 (30-'06) and my wireless laptop, posting on AT and shooting any animal that wonders into my vision. I love marketing scheme holidays.

Man, I just don't see what the big deal is. All I've been doing today is shooting the sh!t on AIM with an ex who lives two hours away, and in a bit I'm supposed to be taking this friend-girl out dancing who I have no interest in (and vice versa). I don't understand how such a manufactured, marketing-centered holiday can manage to get so many people down.

So what if you're single? So what if you happen to be by yourself this evening? I'd wager most people spend evenings alone in some capacity now and then. This is no different.

Sheesh, if it really gets to you, buy yourself some chocolate and "participate". 😛
