I'm afraid to look outside...

I work nights, and this morning when I went to sleep around 8-9am, it was drizzling lightly, in the 40s or so. I wake up, turn on the Weather channel, and see this.

Now I'm afraid to look outside, for fear that there's already several inches of snow on the ground, and I'm going to have to break out the ol' shovel. Goddamn I hate the northeast 🙁

hmm ... so apparently you do not like snow?

Not very much, no. Ever live in the northeast? We get mounds and mounds of the crap, and from now until March it's going to be below 30F all the time. It's a frozen hell.

I love fluffy snow, but the slushy crap sucks!

Sorry about your snow; that sucks.

Dude your energy bills must be insane.

$140 in July for Electric. I'm in an apt, though, not a big house. However, my windows are only single pane and leak. I knew a guy with a 3500 sq ft house, with three AC units, and he said his highest bill was about $150. He had very good insulation and windows put on the house when it was built, though.
