dear god... i've become one of "those" people. You know, the ones who are always writing ranting letters to the editor or columnists about one thing or another.

I actually have letters saved and waiting to be sent during "droughts" when I don't have current events to write about!

Today's was a response to an editorial supporting e-commerce sales tax. I don't support it and took apart each of their arguments in turn.

Of course, not all of them get printed, but I have had a few letters printed, including one where I said the 65 MPH speed limit on a highway was "insanely low" and that anything less than 80 MPH feels like a snail's pace. "Mr. Roadshow" disagreed with me on that one. ;)

Anyone else addicted to this? It's all about the righteous indignation and the rush when your letter gets printed. :D

In that case, you should be posting in P&N. Save yourself a stamp...

the glory of the newspaper is there aren't flame wars. well, usually not anyway. sometimes they'll post a response to a letter.

also, i use email, so no stamps.

Hey, what type of glue do you use to paste on the cut out letters you use to write your letters? :D
