i was varsity doubles first team, but i couldnt play college level to save my life specially div. 1. got a friend whose pretty good, playing at a small div 3 i think college, and i would get my ass kicked by him any day.

I've always thought it was fun. I've remained a beginner though, for lack of play. I got excited last year and bought a $100 Prince Thundercloud and got it strung. Then I played a couple of times and popped a string... I need to join my city's league to get better. But yeah, great fun and great exercise! 😀:thumbsup:

I play with a wilson H Tour racquet. It took a while to get used to, but I couldn't turn down 4 free racquets. Got rid of my 10 year old dunlop revelatio tour pro. Play 1-2 times/year. Can't wait until they put up the outdoor nets because it's expensive to play in-doors. Unforunately, in MN they don't put up the outdoor courts until Memorial day, so I still have another month to wait. I'm on a USTA 4.5 summer team, looking forward to that starting up.

i used to play tennis when i was a little kid. we had courts near my house but they knocked them down. 🙁 that ended my tennis lessons and unfortunately only allowed me to play during the summers at camp. i have a nice graphite racquet and i love it, although it probably needs to be fixed up a bit. fortunately, i moved to a building with tennis courts so i can play more often if i choose to -- i just haven't had the time (or found a partner to play with) yet.

My first job was a ballboy at a tennis club. 🙂 I had no isurance tho so I had to quit when my wife got pregnant. 🙁

I love playing tennis. I bought equipment at the end of last summer, so my wife and I could play. I need a new partner for the summer, though, since my wife is now pregnant and obviously not as agile as she was. 😛

Tennis rocks! Some football fans thinks tennis is a sassy sport, but per game you are actually running like 100mi equivalent. I too can play all day long, it is a addiction. By the way I got the Head intelligence racket.
