Now I cant stand to spend 5 mintues here. I quickly search for funny pics and vids, and head right back for yelling and screaming in P&N.

How long does this usually last ?

The key, I think, is lurking, and not constantly responding to every outrageous troll that makes a home there. I am far from perfect about this, but I'm working on it!

I gave it up about 3 months after the forum was made. You quickly come to realize that the average Internet poster:

A) Takes a cursory glance at his local news and forms his dimwitted opinions via them
B) Isn't important enough to be educated since at most he'll rise to the stature of Wal-Mart middle management.

i've avoided pn for awhile since it usually degrades into a flame war

not that ot is that much different, it's just better the flame wars here tend to be of a more humorous nature.

I go through P&N phases.

I'll be super into it for a couple weeks, then a poster like Rip will get me turned off and I'll spend a month away. Then I'll see something in the news worth discussing and get sucked right back in
