I think the odds are in my favor for thew tigers, but I havent been following either team that much. This has probably already been thoroughly discussed on here, but who would you bet on? Thanks!

During the regular season, the Tigers won 95 games in the toughest division in baseball. The Cardinals won just 83 games in the most pathetic division in baseball. You do the math.

Tigers just took the lead. Seriously, this series has a good chance to be a repeat of '04 when the Cardinals never had the lead even for the slightest of time against the Red Sox.

Okay, my prediction already failed. Actually, funny story, I heard of a method to predict this post season, and it actually ends up with the Cardinals beating the Tigers. This method has already correctly predicted 5 of the 6 series outcomes.

The prediction says, the team who has more former Cub players on their roster will lose that series. :) Well, it's not so much a prediction, it was just a way to say the Cubs suck. :p

Really, even with the Cards up 4-1 in game 1 so far, in the long run the Tigers have by far the superior pitching, and should easily handle the Cardinals. But on the other hand, they do play the 7 games for a reason...

My overall prediction for the series was always tigers lose the first and sweep the rest...much like the ALDS.

You're going to bet on the World Series even though you haven't been following either team? Why not just put it all on black?

The Cardinals. I am biased living in St Louis, but I have seen what they are capable of.. you should have gotten great odds on a Cards bet also. They have gotten no respect in the media. A USA today article said "Tigers in 3 games" and that the Tigers biggest concern would be to "stop laughing" about their opponent. They're not laughing now, I'll tell you that. The Cards are up 5-1 right now in Game 1.

Make that 7-1. Odds won't be so good anymore.

The worst part, is that we both thought the Tigers would win, so I have him 2:1 odds.
