I'm about to fail sociology

Im at a Junior College. I have 3 pages of a 10 page midterm done that is due at noon tomorrow. I am gonna fail.

Lucky for me, I can drop and recieve a "W" which aint bad, but it aint good either. I think ill do that, but then I will only have 7 units and I will desperatly need a job or something to fill my extra hours.

EDIT: its actually 7 units, not 6 like I had previously...

Most major universities will not admit a transfer student with more than three "W"s.

It depends on what a W is. Some schools have a certain number of drops that you can use with zero penalties attached. Various schools have different names for them. And I had no problems getting in with all of my "no penalty drops" used.

I did a 30 page paper a few semesters ago in two days. 10 pages by noon should be a piece of cake.

A W is definately not good! I was contemplating dropping a course last year for a W but was advised not to do so by a university counselor. He told me that when applying for a Masters program, a W or multiple W's can severely hurt your chances.

yeah, I think that maybe I could. My main problem is that I have to pull an A. Now, I have two options, I could fail the class and REPEAT it, for the grade. Not sure how that works out. Or I could get a W. Either way, I have until the 22nd of next month to decide that.

Sociology is easy when you're only taking one or two classes to fulfill a humanities requirement or whatever.
But it can be pretty tough when you major or minor in it.
