I'm about to buy this laptop...what do you all think

I bought this same laptop (almost same specs) for $1,996 back in November 2000 so you're getting a good deal however I would suggest the following upgrades (from personal experience and after reading about 100 UseNet posts):

10GB Hard Drive +$50
Free 8x CD-RW (are you really going to watch DVD movies?)
Internal 56K Capable V.90 + 10/100 Mini-PCI Combo +$30 <--- This is the most important upgrade it's a must have

Also you might want to consider upgrading your laptop warranty to 2 or 3 years, parts and labor on laptops isn't cheap.
