Looks good to me.
Why do they always put internal memory on these cameras that is so low its basically useless.
64MB on a 12MP camera ?

I bought a z650 a year or so ago and it works great.
Make sure to get the extended warranty through kodak when you purchase, its worth it.

Maybe in the future the internal memory could be used for custom settings or somthing, like "hacked" firmware. Also, when i cant seem to find a memory card, i can always take like 4 or 5 pics without any memory, pretty good for ebay or something like that

I think Elfenix was the one who said this (sure wasn't me), but most P&S cameras are pretty similar, so the most important thing to you should be if you like how it fits in your hand, and if the price is right to you.

Of course make sure you feel comfortable with ~ and that should go for anything you buy ;)

I have it. I love it. I got it because of the 720P video. The biggest problem with it is the battery life. With a pair of alkalines, I can record less than 10 minutes of HD video. At least with a pair of rechargables, it increases to 30 minutes. As a still camera, it is good. Nothing that sets it ahead of any other P&S. If you have any specific questions, feel free to post them.

Don't bother getting any kind of high-speed flash card. You won't be able to take that many pictures a second with a P&S as the FPS is limited by the camera to ~1.5+- (depending on the camera being used, but probably not much higher or lower than that) by the camera, not the card you're using.

the extreme iii card is only $2 more than a regular speed card, i may upgrade to a different camera in like 2-3 years though

and i co-opted it from someone else.

i think the main thrust was, most p&s cameras are so similar and the differences so minor that you should spend more time reading the manual and understanding how the camera works, what it can/can't do, etc., than on deciding exactly which me-too camera to buy.

Even if the camera sucks mechanically, I'd buy that camera just because it's Kodak.
When it comes down to color reproductions, Kodak is the best one I've seen.-
