Don't get KT133. Your CPU won't be running at full speed because of 200fsb. And really, because of all the issues withKT7 and KT7A and XP's, I'd stay away from them. For a great KT133A board, which does support SDRAM, get an IWill KK266-R+. It's the best, or Asus A7V133 is great also, but not quite up to KK266-R+.

The KT7 is dated technology that will bottleneck your CPU :)

Get the Epox 8KHA+

You should also concider the Epox and Shuttle 266A solutions as i'v heard they are very good mobos in this forum.

Another choice is the ECS K7S5A. It's very cheap and isn't so far behind the 266A mobos in terms of preformance.

Yea but he said he allready has RAM and wants to use it. KK266-R+ is great, and should be fine.

If you want to keep your old RAM then get a KT133A board, not a KT133. The IWILL and ASUS boards mentioned above are the two best. If you want to overclock the IWILL is better.

I wouldn't get an iwill board personally, for a couple more mhz fsb OCability.. I see a lot of threads complaining about them, or complaining about iwill's support. I would seriously consider a DDR solution, or something like the ECS board that can take your current ram, but can also take DDR in the case of a future upgrade.. the ECS is definately way better than the board you've got picked.. it's just somewhat sketchy.. if you get a good one though, it's all good. I would get the ECS, or at least a KT133a board, like the asus.

Hey guys, help me if you will. Im looking at newegg to get a motherboard and cpu. I am going to get the xp1600 retail. I am leaning toward the ecs k7s5a. I also saw the epox 8k7a refurb that is about the same price. What are your thoughts on that decision? Any suggestions, even outside of these choices, will be greatly appreciated.
