my current rig is a AMD 2500+M @ 2.2
1.5 GB PC3200
x850 xt AGP

I'm moving to

D2C E4300 and will try to OC to at least 2.8
2 GB PC 6400 RAM
and havn't decided on the video card yet. My plan is to sell my AGP card and get something similar just on PCIe. Would sticking with the x850 xt be good? Like I said, I'm not up for spending $200+, I don't really know how much I can get for the card I have, but figuring at least $100, I could spend maybe $150 on a new card.

If I do all of this, will the card be a bottleneck of my system of would it still be able to play ever game now at top settings. It is hard for me since as you can see, my CPU is a little outdated.

Thanks

This is just my opinion, but if you're looking not to spend a lot on a VC, then I would go with a good but cheap one. If you're looking to stick with ATI, then I would say something similar to a Sapphire Radeon X1950GT 256MB GDDR3 PCI-E x16, only $159.99 @ Newegg (link below). Other than that, I don't know. The card I want hasn't even come out yet (R600), so I'm saving my pennies :).

personally i'd wait for the 8600 cards comming soon. What kind of power supply do you have with that shuttle?
