I'm about ready to tear my eyeball out of my face

This is so annoying. I think I got some soap in my eye today when I was in the shower and it just hasn't stopped itching / hurting / watering since. I put drops in, rinsed my eye with water, had a cold wash rag on it, took allergy medicine-- nothing helps. Any ideas before I go through with disassembling my face?

You may have just irritated it or scratched your cornea by trying all these different maneuvers. Maybe instead of rinsing your eye with water, try and stick your entire head under water and open the affected eye might help to completely clear up the soap. If it continues for much longer I'd definitly go see a doctor.

A steady stream of eyedrops or saline solution, from the contact lens aisle, should fix the problem.
