what does boring mean? If you are the quiet, retiring type, then maybe find other quiet, retiring folks to spend time with.
He'd probably find those people boring.

Seriously though, I can relate because I'm pretty dull myself.

maybe he needs one of those bubbly talkative types, to complement him. you see couples like that, the guy is quiet and retiring, the woman is outgoing and bubbly.

and you're an expert on women I take it?

why would you say that? it's not like I presented my thought as a definitive statement. Actually, I presented it as a question.

I wouldn't claim to be an expert on any kind of person. I do have relationships with a few interesting intelligent complicated women, who(m?) I count as dear friends. Are you suggesting that gay men know nothing about women? I think many gay guys understand women better than heterosexual men. That's why friendships between women and gay men are so enduring.

I hung out with a bubble to-night. That's what made me feel boring I think.

Boring people are people who talk about themselves non-stop and are oblivious to the needs and opinions and thoughts of the other person, imo.

What should I do?

Stop being boring? I dunno go on a killing spree, that's interesting for at least a few seconds.

If you are boring keep this in mind:

In terms of being interesting, it's not really what you do that counts, it's how you say it.

this is all bs....wtf and who the fvck defines dull? yah you have ur webster's crap...but fvck that...its all about what you find interesting...if you think reading a book and posting on AT is what u do for fun...then that is fine...your just that type of person. It is all how your body reacts to adrenaline, sort of (thats not the only factor but whatev). Some people get enough just doing all the ****** they do on a normal basis. others require extreme rushes, like base jumping and snorting coke off a hooker's ass...

ask yourself this...if you started skydiving...would you be as happy skydiving as you would sitting at home reading and posting on AT? If you don't know...go skydive and come back with results...if you chicken out and dont jump...your obviously content with what u do now...if you jump and begin to crave the feeling day by day...then keep doing it...

just because people do more extreme things doesnt mean they arent dull. I know some skydivers that all they do is skydive, base jump, etc. and they are some very dull mother fvckers...at least to me they are

Start getting into high-end audio.
I've been getting into it, and it's a blast. You can electrocute yourself five different ways, you meet lots of insane people, and you can sell what you make for several times the cost of the parts.
A word of advice? Don't bother with fancy speaker cable. Not worth it.

diyaudio.com FTW!
