I'm a noob I need help with agp buses!

I am going to get a geforce 6600 gt agp, but I don't know what version my agp bus is and I don't know what speed it is! Can someone tell me how I find it out?

Post your motherboard information. And make sure you have an AGP slot :shocked:

Hi Wilson326 and Welcome to the Forums!

Go HERE and d/l and install the free Everest Home Edition. I believe it will give you this info (what mobo and AGP) without opening your case.

Of course, if you know your mobo, just google it and see the specs.

I still need help, it tells me I have agp 2x in some places and then it tells me I have agp 4x.
