A friend of mine's dad just died a few weeks ago... her ex-boyfriend of almost 2 years was in a car accident and is mentally disabled... and she just got a phone call from a guy she's seeing cause for some reason he's going to the hospital and said he may not come home.
I was talking to her online for a few minutes when she got that call, and she said she had to go and put her away message on, and I made a sarcastic comment about how she always leaves when I get online before I knew about that phone call.
So now I feel like an ass cause she might lose a 3rd person who's close to her. Damn, I pick the worst times to joke with her and be sarcastic... when he dad died she was acting all pissy before I knew what happened, and I said "geeze, who died?" I'm getting really good at putting my size 12's in my mouth.

And someone is bound to post something about how you're a moron for posting this story. Fair warning.

I'm too nice (or dumb) to just ditch her when she's going through so much crap... although I never seem to help the situation at all

geezus man .... it's not like you killed anyone... as i said shiet happens. just be nice to her and think twice before you speak next time.... apologize kindly by doing something she will enjoy..

I talked to her today... her friend who's in the hospital has a leaking aortic valve and apparently blood is coming out of his ears, nose, and mouth. :Q Sounds like something from the movies.
 
apologize to her. tell her u didnt know. and bring her flowers....not roses...but a bouquet (sp?) to make her feel better. let know u are there for her
