just don't do a downward-facing dog in the shower, even you did just get back from a hard workout and your hamstrings are really tight. you get water up your nose :(

next step is, do it with one hand on the floor.

some yoga-cizers lift one hand & one foot off the floor.

that's one of my favorite yoga postures. it works better if you warm up first.

I use to be able to lay on my front and then arch my back and head an touch the back of my head with my toes...

I don't have room to do downward facing dog in my shower, but thanks for the tip :p We've been doing flow of downward dog to upward dog, and it feels very nice. Any big pose, you should be doing after all the warm up poses for sure! I'll have to try the one arm one foot thing....I felt pretty good in the bridge itself, so I might be able to do it...

Well done! I was into yoga a few years ago and I could barely do that pose. My back just doesn't like it. Now...forget it.

Thanks :) Ya...running really helps to shorten our leg muscles, so you must be on top of stretching for sure.
