I had been looking at Samsung's LED TVs and today my GF and I finally bought one. We were walking around Best Buy and she loved the picture of the UN46B8000 but we liked the size of the 55" better. Unfortunately they didn't have the 55" model in stock but we knew what it would cost.

We went across the street to HH Gregg knowing that some friends in the past have been able to negotiate price a little so we figured we would see what they had. They had the UN55B8000 in stock but it was listed $600 more than Best Buy would sell it for. The salesman came up and I told him what Best Buy sold the TV for and he said the tag was wrong and they were selling it for the same price. I pointed out that Best Buy has 3 years no interest on their TVs right now but HH Gregg only has 2 years so getting it Best Buy is still the better deal to me. A manager came over and asked what price I could handle for the 2 years no interest.

At this point I figure I'll throw a number out there and if they say no it's no big deal, if they agree I can get a better deal. I tell him if he goes $2400 for the TV ($400 less than Best Buy is selling it for) we can buy it there. Surprisingly he agreed so we walked out with a new 55" LED TV 😀

We replaced a 42" LCD and I must say this TV is beautiful. DirecTV HD looks awesome and Blu-ray looks incredibly lifelike.

Me too. I've had great luck at HH Gregg. Bought several TVs and a washer/dryer. Prices are usually better than BB.

me three, and their extended warranty/service plan is top notch!!!! I bought all my flat panels from them.
