I have recently been confronted by a close friend and think i need prozac or something. I have been drunk for a week straight--literally (all day every day). Im not proud or bragging, quite the opposite. I need to curb this behavior want suggestions. I really hate myself right now.

BTW, i have been looking for a new post for a while. I have a phd and i may be unemployed in december. :(

Ok, so you're basing this on something that *might* happen?

Sorry, but that's not a good way of looking at life. You run into inifinite *mights* every day.

If you'reworried, start loking for a new job. You have time.

Positive outcome? You mean you still having a job?

If that's your attitude, it won't turn out ok. So you've had some bad luck in the past. Is getting drunk going to fix it? No. It's just going to make things worse.

Take control of the situation and start job hunting.

I agree somewhat but to say getting drunk is just going to make things worse is retarded imho...............

Edit: Except the OP seems to state he is drunk on the job......no wonder they don't want his ass
