Gos help us all, it's true. I have procreated. Rachel was born Saturday morning at 7:53 AM. Looks more like my wife, thank God. Got home Monday morning, was back in the hospital last night until 3:30 AM, woke up at 6:25 and am at work now. I don't know how you guys do it.

Congratulations!

I buy all my new-parent friends this book. I can't recommend it enough. My daughter was sleeping through the night (up for one feeding, then asleep again right away) at 6 weeks. I can't recommend it enough.

Congrats, enjoy the youngin while you can, once they get to Two years of age, you'll have days when you wish you were never born....

But it's worth it in the end, I wouldn't have my Emily any other way....except gagged occasionally.

you're in for it now. no more sleeping in when you want, no more alone time with the wife, no more bed to yourself, feet your face, hands pulling on your hair, throwup, no more clean house, throwup, dirty diapers, throwup, shooting poo, throwup, hugs and kisses, daughter's first words (mommy), daughters telling your love your daddy, more hugs and kisses, pulling your hair out because your kids just took a perm marker and drew daisies on your hardwood floor and telling you they love you.

fun times. OP congrats. It's gonna be a blast.

Please don't project your failings and your child's on me and mine. These things will never happen. My daughter is an angel. :p

They are all angels at first but once they stop looking like aliens, all hell breaks loose. Our kids are 5 and 3 and if they are silent for more than a few minutes, there is trouble brewing.

Congrats! I'm almost a year into daddy-hood of 2 boys and it's true what they say about your freedom. My only freedom comes after they're in bed at night... and then so is the wife. Hope you enjoyed your life beforehand cause the next 18+ years are going to be a whole other phase. My days now are spent watching them all the time so they don't hurt themselves (yes quiet could be bad), picking stuff off the floor, and doing house chores my wife no longer has time to do. But hey, at least I don't have to deal with sleep deprivation like the first few months. Enjoy.

Mine are 2 and 5.

As do I, sometimes I wonder which I would prefer, the bickering with each other, or the silence that comes before the storm.

Ages 5 and almost 2 years.
