I remember watching sportscenter and listening to everyone say "Oakland is doing great, but it can only last so long" and thinking, "Give me a break. What do you know." I really hate it when they're right. I love the A's, always will, I'm just not sure our offense is strong enough to make it this year. Almost every team we play from now until the end of the year has a record over .500. It's not going to be easy and I'm just not sure we have the offense to do it.

As for being bad luck, we got swept by the O's before this series. Unless you shook his hand before then, I'd say you're in the clear.
